Working with cables

Well, there goes my plan for today. My dad woke me up at 9 something in the morning saying that my uncle Ming needed some help. Off I go with my uncle to a Maxis tower in Nilai and help him and his workers puting in some wirings for Maxis's system boards.

In case you still don't know, Uncle Ming works for a company called Alcatel and he works as a contractor installing wirings for telecomunications purposes.

Off I go pulling, cutting and stripping cables, while my uncles two other workers connects the cable with the really huge routers. Well its not a easy job cause you need a special qualification to install these cables, they got this special tool that looks like a gun that is used to connect the different wires in the cables to the pins on the routers.

We finished work at 4.30pm, after cleaning up(the workplace need to be clean says the Maxis guy who came to check on us or we're not allowed to come back here. Huh, a threat by a lowly worker to contract workers[my uncle and his workers] LOLz), my uncle Ming sent me back in his Kancil, but made a last minute change when we're nearing Jalan Pahang. I ask him if he went to see my mom yet and he replied 'no', then he decide to make a detour to HKL to see her.

Well, to make a long story short, we went to see her and after some chat he left and I went home with my dad.

More updates on my mom

Yup, its official now, I just found out today that my mom has hepetitis. Somehow its affecting my mom's gall bladder or something causing the stomach pains.

She seems to be on the road to recovery but still not sure on when will she be discharged.

Update on my mom's situation

Well, as stated in my last post, my mom is warded in HKL for stomach pains.

At first the doctor suspected it was a gallstone or maybe gastritis(an extreme case of gastric), test results shows that it wasn't. So they just stuck a tiub in my mum's nose down to her stomach(I think) and forbid her to eat and drink. Since then she has been complaining about a splitting headache and that her stomach still hurts. The nurses and doctors assured her that it was temporary and the pain will subside as the treatment goes on. Well, it sure didn't happen as my mum still complained about the pain day after day. It went on for 3 days until one morning a senior doctor came to check the ward's condition. Damn was he freaking out about my mom's condition because it seems that putting in the tiub and forbidding her to eat and drink only worsen her condition. Those nurses sure got a good yelling from the good doctor(grin, grin).

After taking out the tiub from her nose, the headache subside quite fast. Even the pain in her stomach itsn't that painful anymore. Later she was moved to a Wad Perubatan because her condition is not serious anymore. The doctor manning that ward suspected that she might has Hepetitas and was given the proper medication.

Today I went to see her, and she seem better. While her condition is still not clear but she damn better treated in here. The last ward she was in was called Wad Pembedahan where the patients whose cases might involve surgery are placed. If the doctors in that kind of ward can give a misdiaogsis of a small case like my mum, wonder what will happen if it happened to someone will a serious problem.

Good thing my mum doesnt need to go thru it anymore. She currently is recuperating and her condition is still unsured cause the doctor is still not sure if its really Hepatitis until further testing.

my life today...............

Its been sometime now since I wrote in this blog. Since some of my friends are posting things they do on thier holidays, I think I should too to keep up.

Last week I've went to Sarawak with some friends and it was ....fun.

Last night, my mom went to the hospital because stomach pains. My dad bought her to HKL, me and my bro went with them. Once there we have to wheel her in on a wheelchair because she felt pain everytime she walks. Its seems like a normal stomach ache(she has a fever too) to the attendent at the registry, so the attendent sent her to the Fever Clinic(Pusat Rawatan Demam) which I dont know what the heck they do, diagnosing fevers? well I dont even know why they sent someone with stomach pains there. Well, after being check the doctor there(my dad went in with her), they sent us to the outpatient diagnosis room. We waited our turn and when my mom's number came up, my dad wheel her in while me and my bro wait outside.

The doctor were not sure on the diagnosis so he had her stay the night there. So, my dad went to register my mom up to stay at the hospital. They place her in the Surgery Wad(Wad pembedahan) which i guess are the wad where they put patients waiting for their operations. It kinda shows that the doctors are expecting the worst. well, the story goes : my mom stays the night in HKL, dad drive us back after visiting hours ended, then he went back there with my sis with some water and change of clothes for my mom, yadda yadda they came back, end day.

So, today I went to see her again and check on her situation. I woke up late today(at 1 pm actually) and was able to go out at 4 pm. My sis and dad left early(7.30 am, when visiting hours starts) Well, I was with my mom from that time till visiting hours end. It seems the doctor is still unsure on her condition, they did x-ray and scan on her but still no conclusive diagnosis yet. thier early diagnosis were that she has Gallstones, the x-ray and scan dispell that. Then its maybe an extreme case of gastric, later they're not sure about that too. Maybe we'll know something tomorrow. tonight is the second night she's in there.
