Who is Doctor Who?

I've been wondering about that for sometime now, always hearing it as 'the best sci fi of all time' and 'a piece of popular culture'.
Yet I never bother to actually to find out Who is Doctor Who?

Until a few hours ago,
I searced thru the web (including wikipedia) and found out that its actually a TV series.

Who is Doctor Who?

Doctor Who, a sci-fi series first appeared in BBC television in 1963.
Was one of the earliest sci-fi series ever,
It involves The Doctor who travels thru time and space in the TARDIS(Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space), which is dimensionally transcendental (larger on the inside than on the outside), and seemingly never fully under his control. The TARDIS originally had the ability to disguise itself according to its environment, but became "stuck" in the form of a police box after landing in London in 1963.

Haven't seen the series myself, but from the reviews I've read, it seems to be enjoyable.
It should also noted that the series' most notable characters are perhaps one of his adversaries, The Daleks.

The Daleks even appear on a stamp celebrating British popular culture. XD

Interesting enough, theres a new Doctor Who TV series airing now in the UK,
wonder if the local TV stations here in Malaysia will pick it up soon :)

Top 100 toys of all time

Found an interesting site:

The top 100 toy of all time (or so the writer says),
to me it look just like a list of top 100 'old' toys, most of the games I never heard of, but are still in existance like Operation, Cluedo, and even Mastermind XD

What I like about this site is his commentaries on the toys he listed.
He always has something to say about the toy in question, nice insight into the kids of yesteryears.
From the accent in his writings, I would guess that his British.
Some of the old toys he features are also use to be popular here in Malaysia :))
But I think the site would cater more to the 80's and 70's kids

Check it out, you might find some toys you have played when you were young ;)

If anyone been reading my blog since it started, you might notice that I'm a RPG(Role Playing Game) enthusiast.

This is a profile for one of my characters in a campaign I'm playing.

Origin: Rath, middle-east of Dekarra

Family: Mother-Human(deceased),unknown; Mother-Orc(deceased), Marg; Father(deceased), Thrag; 12 siblings(deceased)
Background:
Was born into slavery by his Human slave mother, his mother died after giving birth to him. Adopted into his master(his father)'s family.
Faced abuse and humiliation during his growing years.
At the night of his 13th birthday, he was visited by Lenellia in his dream, he was enlighten by her that night.
The next day his entire family was found dead, their throat was slit in thier sleep.
Kaiern, son of Thrag has left the orc village and adopted the name Kai Sunreaver.
He joined an order of Paladin in Rath called the "Selesnya Conclave".
And has since set on his mission for Lennelia, ever the devout acolyte.

-obtained from a body of a drow that tried to ambush his party.

Spiked Shield of Bashing, the Basher
-forged by the twin dwarves, Yardek and Ilde Rumnaheim

New Bleach movie is coming (YES!!! at last!)

A new Bleach movie is coming, yay \o/

" in a recent roundtable at a University in Vienna, Austria; Studio Pierrot confirmed that they are in the process of making a Bleach Movie. Not much is known, but expect the movie to release in the Summer of next year"

Hoping its as good as the series,
usually I don't dig anime movies, cause they(the producers) always screw the storyline and characters.
just like the first Naruto movie, at least that movie was entertaining( seeing Sasuke asking Naruto to complete the mission was good enough for me. HE HE, knowing you can't see that in the manga, LOLz).

So far the Bleach series has been true to the manga, even the Jump special featured a plot from the manga(Ichigo vs GranFisher). Which was really cool, better executed that the one in the series.

Now can't wait for the next year to come, hope it don't get licensed before that (please don't).
